Ecological and economic advantages combined without compromise
As of the first quarter of 2015, LEIPA Georg Leinfelder has offered its customers a high quality, matte surface volume paper for heatset web offset printing in the form of ultraSKY 1.2®. This coated paper has a specific volume (bulk) of 1.2 and contains 100% fibre from recycled paper.
ultraSKY 1.2® was developed individually for special interest magazines, direct mailings, flyers and advertising material with a reduced number of pages. The new paper stands out for its very high gloss and optimum opacity. These properties result in prints of outstanding brilliance. At the same time, the paper plays out its greatest strength with the end customer: The greater volume imparts an impression of especially high value in both look and feel – at reduced weight.
As customary for LEIPA magazine paper, ultraSKY 1.2® has been awarded the essential environmental certificates, with EU Eco Flower, Blue Angel and FSC® and PEFCTM certificates. That means ultraSKY 1.2® optimally combines the ecological and economic advantages, thereby allowing the advertiser, printer and publisher to efficiently meet their own sustainability demands and targets.
LEIPA ultraSKY 1.2 is available in paper densities of 60, 65, 70, 80 and 90 g/m2. LEIPA intends to gradually expand their product portfolio of bulky paper grades.
